Join the BZD and Fleur Hassan-Nahoum Tuesday, October 17th at 11:00 AM (ET) for an update on the current events in Israel. Fleur Hassan-Nahoum serves as the Special Envoy for Innovation and deputy mayor of Jerusalem in charge of foreign relations, international economic development, and tourism. Fleur was born in Gilbraltar, attended Law School in London, and immigrated to Israel in 2001.

The Baltimore Zionist District and our supporting members are proud to stand with our Baltimore community in solidarity with Israel in times of crisis.

The following list of immediate need agencies have been verified by the Baltimore Zionist District.

MEDICAL AID:

  • Magen David Adom: Israel’s national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance, and blood bank service, whose dedicated men and women are risking their lives to save others affected by the attack.
  • United Hatzalah: The largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer emergency medical service organization in Israel, ensuring the fastest emergency medical response throughout the country.

SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS:

  • Adopt-A-Safta: A nonprofit initiative that pairs young adults with lonely and isolated seniors, particularly Holocaust survivors who need aid and support following the attack.
  • Jewish Agency Fund for Victims of Terror: Providing emergency aid, financial assistance, and ongoing care to individuals and families in dire need.
